Announcing the 2016 PDF to Excel Scholarship Presented by Cogniview
We’re proud to announce the first-ever PDF to Excel Scholarship for the Spring 2016 semester. This scholarship is available to students of the U.S. and Canada. The winner will be awarded with a $1,000 USD grant toward their education.
Technology has fundamentally changed the way we work. Programs like Cogniview’s PDF2XL have made it possible to automate tasks that once would have taken a long time for a human to complete.
While some resist the use of new technology out of fear, unfamiliarity or stubbornness, it is ultimately those who adapt best that are successful, not just in business but in any area of life.
For this year’s inaugural PDF to Excel Scholarship contest, we’re asking you to create a video tutorial that demonstrates how to automate a task using technology.
For example, maybe you’ll create a video showing our audience how to send an email at the same time each month, like an invoice or timesheet. Or, maybe you’ll show them the steps to automatically create a report of all sales leads generated for the past seven days and their status within the sales funnel.
These are business-related examples, but you can get creative! Your submission can include text, images, audio, video or some combination of all of the above. Entries must be in English and run no more than 10 minutes.
Candidates must be enrolled as full-time or part-time students for the Spring 2016 semester at a higher education institution in the United States or Canada. Enrollment will be verified before announcing a winner.
Video must be uploaded to YouTube, then submitted to us. Submissions must be made using the form below or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and including your full name, address, email address, college or university and your submission materials in the form of a link to a listed or unlisted YouTube video.
Submissions must be received by 11:59 p.m. EST on December 31, 2015. A winner will be chosen internally by Cogniview staff members and announced no later than January 10, 2015.
By submitting a tutorial, students grant Cogniview the right to re-publish their submission and name on Cogniview.com and its owned channels including email and social media.
Scholarship money will be sent directly to the winner’s school after a bursar bill is sent to us.
