OCR Menu

This menu is only available when the document is in OCR Mode.

OCR Mode

Toggles between working in the Scanned Document Mode or the Regular Document Mode.

Perform OCR on Page

Performs an OCR operation on the current page, recreating all the words from the page image. This operation is only available when a PDF file is open, and will automatically change the view to the Scanned Document Mode

Perform OCR on Layout

Performs an OCR operation on the page layout, replacing all the words inside it with words created from the image. This operation is only available when a PDF file is open, in Scanned Document Mode, a page layout is defined, and the application is not in Text Selection mode.

Perform OCR on Selection

Performs an OCR operation on the currently selected item in the page layout, replacing all the words inside it with words created from the image. This operation is only available when a PDF file is open, in Scanned Document Mode, a page layout is defined, and there is at least one item (column, row, cell or field) selected in that layout.

Validate OCR

Toggles the Scanned Document Validation Mode; only available when in Scanned Document Mode.
Note that selecting this option while in the Scanned Document Validation Mode that was initialized by a conversion request will end the validation without converting the data.
