Customization Mode
When the Customize Dialog is open, the user interface is in customization mode. This means that menu items and toolbar buttons can be dragged in order to add, remove, rearrange or copy them; additionally, each toolbar button or menu command appearance can be changed using the Context Menu, available when right-clicking on the button or command:
The user can grab any toolbar button or menu item using the mouse, drag them around and deposit them in any menu or toolbar:

If the user drags it to a place where no toolbar or menu exist, the item will be removed from the toolbar or the menu. This is indicated by the remove item cursor:

The user can also copy the item by pressing <Control> while dropping it. The mouse cursor will change into the copy command cursor:

In order to add new items to a menu or toolbar, the user only needs to grab the item from the Commands Page's Commands box and drag it into the wanted location. Items dragged from the Commands box will also stay there, unlike items dragged from the menu or toolbar.
To change the appearance of the button or command, right-click it to display the Customization Context Menu and select the operation you want.
