Manual Activation Process
To manually activate PDF2XL, use the following steps:
Run the application (if it is not already running). If it is not already activated, the Payment Details Page will be displayed:
Fill in the Payment Code and the Purchase Email, and press <Next>.
In the Activation Method Page:
Select the 'No' option and press <Next>
The Activation Key Input Page will be displayed:
Click on the <How do I get an Activation Key> button to continue.
The Activation Key Request Method will be displayed:
Select the 'E-Mail' option or 'Fax' option and press the <Next> button. If you selected the 'Fax' option, the next step is Sending the Fax.
If you have an E-Mail client application installed, it will open and display the Activation Key Request E-Mail; send this e-mail to Cogniview.
If you do not have an E-Mail client application, the Activation E-Mail Page will be displayed:
From which you should copy the details into an E-Mail and send it to support@cogniview.com.
After sending the Activation Request E-Mail, please wait for Cogniview to return the Activation Key to you by E-Mail.
After the Activation Key E-Mail arrives, select and copy the Activation Key from it, then return to the Activation Wizard, which should already display the Activation Key Input Page again:
If you have closed PDF2XL after sending the E-Mail, just follow the instructions from stages 1, 2 and 3 above, but stop at the Activation Key Input Page (do not press on the 'How do I get an Activation Key' button).
Paste the key into the first Activation Key box; it should fill in all the boxes. If it does not, copy the key by hand. Then press the <Next> button.
If the key is valid, you should get the Activation Success Page:
Clicking on the <Finish> button will finish the Activation Process and start PDF2XL.
However, if the Manual Activation fails for any reason, the following page will be displayed:
In such a case, you can try to use the Online Activation Process or the Website Activation Process instead.
