Output Settings
The output settings pane can be displayed instead of the preview by clicking the Output Settings button (from the Output Settings bar), or using the Output Settings command from the Layout menu:

In the output settings pane, all the output tables of the layout are displayed as tabs, and the data to be converted displayed in each table (even if you elected not to convert the data as multiple sheets in the Conversion Settings Page). Here you can mark a table so it will be ignored when converting, change the order of the output tables, rearrange the columns of a table, toggle the conversion of a column, and even append tables so they'll be converted together.
You can also change the output for fields that are convered once, by change their order, hidding or restoring them from the conversion, and even change their status so they'll be converted with a specific table.
If you wish to return the output settings to the original state, just click on the (which is also found on the Output Settings bar). Note that this will not change the conversion status of fields, i.e., the field appearance type of each field will not be changed; nor will the table names be changed.
To make PDF2XL OCR ignore a table when converting, just clear the check mark next to the table's name. Note that at least one table must be converted, so you cannot clear them all.
A hidden table will not appear in the preview, only in the output settings. The table will still be marked in the layout.
To restore a previously hidden table to the conversion, just check the box next to the table's name in the Output Settings.
You can set the order of tables to be converted to be other then the order they were marked on the page. This can be done by dragging the table's name to a different location in the Output Settings.
Note that you need to drop the table between other tables; if you drop the table on another table's name, you will be combining them.
Note that hidden (unchecked boxes) tables will not 'respect' the order, i.e., they will always be put at the end of the table list when you open the Output Settings, even if you put them somewhere else.
The output preview will display the output in the new order.
You can hide a table's column so it won't be converted by PDF2XL OCR at all by clearing the check mark next to the column in the Output Settings by clicking on it. This is also valid for table columns that are created from fields.
A hidden column will not appear in the output preview.
Note that you cannot hide either of the fields table columns.
Restoring a hidden column is done by clicking on the box next to the column name in the output settings so it will be checked.
You can rearrange the column order of a table by dragging the column headers. Note that hidden columns will always be put after the converted columns in the output settings, even if you put them elsewhere previously.
The table will be displayed in the new order in the output preview.
If your layout contains a fields table, you can also reorder or hide them:

You can append a table's output to another table by dragging the table's name onto the name of the table you want to append it to. The table name in the layout will be changed to match the name of the table you dragged it on.
Note that if the table you dragged it on does not have a name, you will be prompted to provide one.
You can change the order of fields by dragging the field's name or value up or down when in output settings mode. Note that you cannot change the location of a hidden field, or can you drag a field onto a hidden field.
You can hide a field so it won't be converted by PDF2XL OCR by clearing the check mark next to its name in the Output Settings. To restore a hidden field, just set the check mark back.
Note that you cannot hide all the fields in the field table; you can, however, remove the field's table itself from the conversion using the Hide Table option above.
You can attach a field to a table by dragging the field onto the table's name.
