OCR Feedback dialog
This dialog is displayed when the OCR engine translates a scanned document page into text, and the Enable Learning option is set in the OCR Settings page. It will not be displayed when converting scanned documents unless the Learn while converting option is set in the same page.

This dialog is used to provide feedback used by the OCR engine in the recognition process. More information about the feedback process can be found here.
Word Image
The word image is displayed in the top-left part of the dialog. The part for which the OCR results are being questioned is highlighted in red.
Characters
This box displays the OCR tentative results for the highlighted part of the word. You can change them if the OCR result is wrong.
Whole Word
This (non-editable) box displays the OCR results for the whole word. If those are correct, you can use the Whole Word OK button to continue to the next word, instead of having to OK every part.
Character(s) OK / Use Changes
This button will accept the text from the Characters part as the result for the marked image part. If you have kept the original OCR result, the text will be 'Character(s) OK'; if you have changed the text, it will read 'Use Changes'.
Whole Word OK
Clicking this button will OK the rest of the word and move on to the next one. If the result displayed in the [a: #WholeWord] matches the word in the [a: #WordImage]Image, you can click it to move directly to the next word.
Not A Word
Clicking this button signifies that the marked part is not actually a text. As the OCR engine sometimes mistakenly translates markings on the scanned page into text, this button is there to fix this issue.
Note that if this happens a lot in a specific scanned document, changing the Threshold, Deskpeckle or Remove Lines options in the Advanced OCR Settings dialog may help.
Undo
If you gave the wrong feedback to an image part (or the whole word), you can change your mind by using the Undo button. It will only work for the current page (in case of giving feedback to the conversion process).
Enough Learning
If you wish for the OCR process to continue without giving further feedback, press this button.
Cancel
Pressing this button will cancel the current operation. If you cancel a navigation process, PDF2XL OCR will stay on the same page as before. If you cancel a conversion process, nothing will be converted (even if you gave feedback to previous pages) - so use it wisely!
