Image Document
PDF2XL OCR allows you to convert tables (and other data) from multiple types of image files into Excel (or any other output format).
This is done by opening the file from inside PDF2XL OCR using the Open command from the File menu, and selecting an image file. If the file contains multiple pages or images - like some TIFF or GIF files - each will be displayed as a different page in PDF2XL OCR.
When such a file is opened, PDF2XL OCR will automatically perform an OCR process; this may take a few moments. Note that if the document has multiple pages (images), then the process will only be performed on the first page. You will then be able to use PDF2XL OCR in scanned document mode to mark and convert the data.
PDF2XL OCR will remember the data created by the OCR process, so if you open the same file again, this process will not be re-run.
Currently, PDF2XL OCR supports the following image formats:
BMP - Windows Bitmap format
JPEG - Joint Photographic Experts Group format
GIF - Graphics Interchange Format
PNG - Portable Network Graphics format
TIFF - Tagged Image File Format
