Table of Contents Concepts Layout Elements Tables Automatically Find Table End

Automatically Find Table End

Some documents have a table that can be found in more then one page, but with different length at each. In order to convert such documents at ease, without having to use the Multiple Page Layouts option and changing the length of each table by hand, you can use the Automatic Find Table End command.

Consider two instances of a table, found in two different pages of the same document:

As can be seen, the same table is found on both pages, but has different length. Additionally, if the table's layout was set to match the longer one, it would have also included the non-matching line at the end of the left example.
Enter the Automatically Find the Table End command from the Table menu. Select any part of the table and use that command, and use the current layout of the table in order to find the end of the table for all the pages this table appears at.

Note that this command can be used to great effect along with the Find Table using Header command.
