Online Upgrade Error Page

This page is displayed if there was an error in the online upgrade process:

Note that errors in the Upgrade Process can occur due to the following reasons:

  • The computer is not connected to the internet
  • The computer's or network's firewall doesn't allow the Upgrade Wizard to connect to Cogniview's upgrade server
  • Cogniview's upgrade server isn't working
  • One of the upgrade details (provided in the Upgrade Details Page) isn't correct
  • PDF2XL OCR has already been upgraded on another computer

You should first check if the payment details are correct, by pressing the <Back> button to return to the Upgrade Details Page.

If the details are correct and the problem still occurs, you can try to use the Website Upgrade by clicking on the <Next> button.

If your computer is not connected to the internet, or Cogniview's website is not accessible due to firewall settings, you can use one of the Manual Upgrade methods by clicking on the <Activate By E-Mail or Fax> button.

Clicking this button will display the Upgrade Offline Page.

Clicking on this link will open your E-Mail client application and provide you with a template of an E-Mail to us. You can use this mail to provide us with details about the upgrade problem, if any.

Back button

The Back button will move to the Upgrade Method Page.

Next button

The Next button will open your default browser and display the Upgrade page on Cogniview's website, which should approve your license upgrade and give you details about upgrading the software; it will also move to the Upgrade Finished Page. See Website Upgrade Process for details.

Cancel button

The Cancel button will cancel the Upgrade Process.

Help button

The Help button will display this help page.
