Scanning into PDF2XL Enterprise
One of the ways to use PDF2XL Enterprise is to scan tables directly from paper and convert them into Excel - providing, of course, that you have a scanner or similar device connected to your computer.
To scan data into PDF2XL Enterprise, start by selecting the scanning device using the Select source command from the File menu (if you haven't done so before). A list of available scanning devices will be displayed, and you'll be prompted to select one.
After selecting the source, you can use the Acquire command from the File menu to start the scanning process. The selected scanning device's software will be used to handle the scan. For help on the scanning itself, consult the scanning device documentation. Note that PDF2XL Enterprise will perform an OCR process while the scanner works on the next page, so as to save you waiting for the OCR to finish.
After the scan is finished, you'll be returned to PDF2XL Enterprise, and the results of the scan will be displayed as a scanned document. Each scanned page will be added as a new page to the document, so if all your documents have the same layout, you'll be able to use PDF2XL Enterprise's ability to use the marked elements on all the pages at once.
Now you should be able to easily convert the data into any format you want using PDF2XL Enterprise just as if the data was put into a scanned PDF and then loaded into PDF2XL Enterprise.
