File Menu

Used to open a new document for display.
This command displays the Open File dialog.
Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl+O.
Closes the currently displayed document. Only available when at least one document is loaded.
Note that you can use the Windows command in the Window Menu to display a different open document without closing the current one (if you display the open files in maximized mode).
Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl+F4.
Used to print the currently displayed document. Only available when at least one PDF file is loaded and is not available for printed documents.
This command displays the Print dialog.
Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl+P.
Used to save the currently displayed scanned or print document. Only available when at least one scanned or print document is loaded; it is not used for PDF or image documents.
If a scan was performed, or the printed document has been printed into PDF2XL Enterprise and hasn't been saved previously, the Save File Dialog will be displayed to select a file name.

Used to save the currently displayed scanned or print document into a different file. Only available when at least one such document is loaded; it is not used for PDF or image documents.
This command displays the Save File dialog.
A list of up to 8 most recently opened documents. Selecting one of them will open that file, or display it if it is already loaded.
Used to select a TWAIN source to scan from. Displays the select source dialog.
When PDF2XL Enterprise is first used to scan, a scanning source must be selected, but it will be remembered from then on, so it should only be used to replace the source.
Allows scanning by displaying the scan accusition dialog; the dialog itself depends on the scanning device. PDF2XL Enterprise will accept any number of pages in one scan, and will combine them into the same document until the scanning dialog is closed.
Additionally, you can specify that any new scans will be added to the current scanned document by selecting Yes on the Adding Scanned Pages dialog:

(this dialog will only be displayed if the top displayed document is a scanned document).

Closes the PDF2XL Enterprise application and all the loaded documents.
