Table Creation mode

PDF2XL CLI supports three selection modes:

• Table Creation mode
• Field Creation mode
• Text Selection mode

In order to add more then one table to a Page Layout, the Table Creation mode is used.
In order to enter the Table Creation mode, select the Table Creation mode option from the Selection Mode Drop Down Button, or select it from the Edit Menu.

When in the Table Creation mode, click-and-drag selection of any area of the document that is not already a part of the Page Layout will result in creation of a new table (and an automatic assignment of columns and rows).

If the Ask for table name option is set in the Conversion Settings Page, the user will be prompted for the table's heading immediately after it is created.
