Conversion Settings Page
This page is one of the pages in the Settings dialog.

This page allows you to change the conversion settings of the PDF2XL CLI application.
The conversion target combo box allows selection of the default target used when converting. This target will be used when the Convert Menu button on the Standard Toolbar is clicked.
The filename settings set the behaviour of PDF2XL CLI when converting into a file (Excel, Word, CSV or any other). Selecting 'Ask me for a filename when converting' will ask the user for a filename when converting; the 'Use the PDF file filename to generate an output filename' setting will automatically assign the output file using the name of the PDF file but with a different extension (appropriate for the conversion type: .xls or .xlsx for Excel files, .doc or .docx for Word files, .csv for CSV files, .ods for OpenDocument Spreadsheets, and .html for HTML files) so the converted file will always be saved next to the originating PDF file.
If this setting is set, PDF2XL CLI will open the file after the conversion into a file (this will not happen if the conversion is to the clipboard, or if there is no application that is registered for opening the file, which can be the case for CSV, HTML and OpenDocument Spreadsheet files). If it is not set, the file will be created but not automatically opened.
This setting defines the default range of pages that will be converted from the PDF file. You can set it to either convert only the current page, convert information from all the document pages, or to ask you which pages to convert.
If the Ask me each time box is checked, the Select Conversion Pages Dialog will be display, with the selected range from the settings page as the default setting.
If the box is not checked, the conversion will be performed immediately, unless Page Range was specified, in which case the Select Page Range dialog will be displayed before the conversion takes place.
When this option is set, each layout table will be converted into a different Microsoft Excel sheet. If not set, all the data will be converted into a single sheet.
More information about the Multiple Tables Conversions can be found here.
When this option is on, the user will be prompted to name each table when it is created.
This option sets the behaviour of PDF2XL CLI when the user finished marking a new table in the Page Layout.
If this option is set, will try to find the header of the marked table; if successful, it will then mark it.
Note that you have to include the table header in the marked area for this operation to succeed.
When this check box is on, the user will be prompted to name each field when it is created.
This combo box allows the user to select the default field conversion setting, which will be assigned for each new field.
If this option is set, PDF2XL CLI will stay in Mark Title mode after a title is selected, and the user will be able to select another table or field to mark the title for. To stop the mode, the user will have to select the menu command again.
If this option is cleared, the Mark Title mode will end after a title is set for the currently selected table or field.
More information is available on setting table titles and setting field headings.
This combo box allows the user to select the user interface language for PDF2XL CLI. Note that changing the user interface language will require restarting the application to go into effect (PDF2XL CLI will suggest this when the user closes the settings dialog if the user interface language was changed).
If the new language was not original installed with the application, the user will be prompted to download the language components (or select their location) using the Install Language dialog.
This setting controls the zoom in which the document is initial opened. The options include Original Size, which will keep the size of the document; Fit to Width, which will automatically set the document to fit PDF2XL CLI's window, and Set to, which will allow the user to set the default size (in percent).
Note that if the Remember zoom for each document option is set, this setting will only be used when a new document is opened.
Setting this option will ensure that PDF2XL CLI remember the zoom in which the user has last used for each document; if it is cleared, the zoom will be automatically set by the Default Zoom setting.
This setting allows the user to select the color in which tables are marked. It is orange by default.
This setting allows the user to select the color in which fields are marked. It is blue by default.
