Table of Contents Operations Table Conversion Marking Multiple Tables Copying a Table

Copying a Table

Sometimes a table layout can be found more then once in a document. The most common case is a table that is found in the same place in all the pages, and this is covered in Eudi automatically when not in Multiple Layout mode. However, if a similar table is found in a different location, you can use the Copy and Paste commands to copy a table's layout.

After you have edited a table layout by splitting columns or merging cells, you can copy the table's layout to another location by:

  1. Select the table layout to be copied by selecting any element in it (column, row or cell)
  2. Use the Copy command from the Edit menu to copy the table layout
  3. Navigate to the page containing the similar table
  4. Use either the Paste Here command from the Context menu (after right-clicking the plase you want to copy the table into) or the Paste command from the Edit menu to paste the table layout onto the page
  5. Move the new table layout to the wanted location on the page by dragging its handle
  6. Note that any fields attached to the table will be copied alongside it, so when you paste the table into the layout, those fields will also be added.
You can move the fields with the table by pressing the <Shift> button while dragging the table.
