Checking if table will be converted correctly
Before converting the selected table (into excel, word or text format), Use the Conversion Preview Area (shown below) to make sure that the data will be exported correctly.

Note: This view shows the data from the current page and not from the entire document. If you would like to see how the data would be extracted from a different page, use the navigation controls to reach that page and examine the Conversion Preview again.
When examining the Conversion Preview area, be on the lookout for the following cases:
- Data is "chopped" by table border - In this case, the leftmost or the rightmost border the table has "chopped" some of the important data. As you can see has happened in the screen shot below (The name of the States have a few letter chopped from them)

To solve this problem, resize the table to include the chopped data (see changing table area).
There are cases where the data is not "chopped" by the table border, but rather by a column (as shown in the screen shots of document window and the Conversion Preview Area).

In this case, adjust the location of the column border (see changing column area).
- Data is split between columns - In this case, data that should be in one column is split between two or more columns. For example, in the screen shot below, the state of destination column (which should be one column) is divided into three different columns.

This situation also is easy to spot in the window (shown below).

To resolve this problem you should merge the three columns (see deleting/merging a column).
- A table column(s) is/are missing - In this case the table area simply does not include a required column. As you can see in the screen shot below, the column state of origin is just not included in the table area.

You can immediately see that the Column State of origin is not included in the Conversion Preview.

To resolve this problem resize the table to include the missing column or columns (see changing the table area).
- Missing rows - Examine the Conversion Preview area to see that both the first and last rows of the table will be extracted.
When you are satisfied with the contents of the Conversion Preview area, proceed to Converting table data.
If (for whatever reason) you would like to clear the table layout continue to Clearing table layout.
