Application Control Menu

The application's control menu is displayed when the user clicks the application icon in the Caption Bar, or when the user presses the <Alt>+<Space> keyboard shortcut.
Additionally, this menu is displayed when the user right-clicks the application's icon in the task bar while the application is running.

The following commands are available via this menu:

Restore

Restores the window to its previous size (valid only when the application's window minimized or maximized).

Move

Changes the mouse cursor to the Move cursor and places it on the application's Caption Bar. The user can then use the mouse to drag the application window to a new position (by clicking the caption bar and dragging it) or by using the arrow keys on the keyboard.
To exit the Move mode, release the mouse button or press <Enter> on the keyboard.
Valid only when the application window is not minimized or maximized.

Size

Changes the mouse cursor to the Resize cursor and places it in the middle of the application window. The user can then use the mouse to change the application window size by dragging the Resize Area to a new position, or by using the arrow keys on the keyboard.
To exit the Size mode, release the mouse button or press <Enter> on the keyboard.
Valid only when the application window is not minimized or maximized.

Minimize

Minimizes the application's window.

Maximize

Maximizes the application's window so it covers all the screen.

Close

Closes the application.
