Activation Procedure
When selecting online activation, the product's Activation Wizard will send the Payment Code and the Product Key (which is a string that uniquely identifies your installed copy of the product) to Cogniview's activation server, where they are authenticated. If the Payment Code and the Product Key match and are authenticated, Cogniview's activation server will send an activation key back to the Activation Wizard, completing the activation automatically and launching the product immediately.

Manual Activation requires two stages. Use the Activation Wizard to print a fax or prepare an E-Mail (per your choice) to send to Cogniview, containing all the necessary information for the activation: the Payment Code, the Purchase E-Mail, and the Product Key. Cogniview will then authenticate the information and send you back an E-Mail or fax containing the Activation Key for the product.
The Activation Key is then applied by running the application again, which will automatically display the Activation Wizard. This time, after providing the Payment Code and Purchase E-Mail, you can provide the Activation Key in the Activation Key Input Page to complete the activation procedure.

Website Activation is a compromise between the two methods mentioned above. If an error occurs in the Online Activation you will be prompted to try the Website Activation, or you can use the Activation Wizard to use it directly.
The default browser will be opened and will display the Activation Page on Cogniview's website, with the activation details such as the Payment Code and the Purchase E-Mail already filled. If those are correct, the page will display the Activation Key, which you can copy and paste into the Activation Key Input Page.
This means that you do not have to wait until Cogniview will send you back the Activation Key E-Mail or Fax as does the Manual Activation method, but you will still have to copy the Activation Key into the wizard.
Note that you will not be able to use this method if your computer is not connected to the internet or if your firewall settings prevent you from surfing to Cogniview's Website. You may also see a warning about Explorer blocking javascript from running and have to click on the <Click Here> button on the page before getting to the Activation Page itself.
