I'm in the same spot as Mahalie was a couple of months ago... Trying to decide between Aweber and MailChimp. For large lists Mailchimp seems to have a better price... Which one have you picked Mahalie? Chris?

@Andrew - why do you prefer Aweber? I'm trying to decide and after evaluating over 15 different email marketing providers I've narrowed it down to MailChimp and Aweber. Both have robust services. Aweber seems to be more historically established and they have instant chat support. MailChimp seems to have the best documentation, including video tutorials, amazing stats apps, flexible templates, and to be constantly adding features. It's a tough choice for me right now.

I am just looking for an email solution for one of my companies to create a newsletter. The problem with aweber is one of importing existing contacts. We already have 500 signed up users and to use aweber it will send all of these existing users an opt in email which no doubt most of them will ignore.

MailChimp however allows you to import such lists.

Anybody know any way around it with aweber as I would prefer to use them.
