In addition to being flexible, these tires are also insulating because they contain air.

Imagine covering a room&#039;s wall with these things, with the tire&#039;s external side facing inwards into the room. Sound that is created inside the room hits the tires and the sound wave energy is converted to tire vibrations. However these vibrations are dampened (converted to heat in the rubber) and almost not passed to the wall at all, and therefore not passed to the nearby rooms.</description>

		<description>Well tires are made of rubber, which makes some pretty weird sounds when you rub it, hit it, twist it, bend it... etc.

Unless its being used for Sound Dampening... but i think it would build more noise than it would suppress.
