I have a column of numbers. Each has been multiplied by a factor containing 3 decimal places. Each result is also a 3 decimal place number. I need each of the numbers to be rounded to the nearest two places, and then to sum the result — without adding the 3d place that has been rounded!

These are dollars and must be presented in dollar format. I don’t need or want any thousandths or smaller artifacts hanging around. Can ya hep me?

The result I want is: the number of hours it took to complete a task.

I have 2 columns, in each column is a date and time.
How can i get the number of hours between date/time on the same row in each column?

Effect Function. If Npery is <1, Num error is returned. But sometimes Npery needs to be less than one. Example, payments are monthly but interest is annual. Is there a work around or another function?

I have a spreadsheet that calculates numerical totals from different columns in several different ways. In one column there is a list of colors (some appear in several locations). Currently I have to manually identify the rows with a common color and construct the formula using all data in those rows. I would like to use logic to identify the color in this column and then automatically apply a common formula to only those rows selected by the color logic.

I would like to insert a formula which will deliver the date & time,when i entered any data in a cell. I tried the “NOW()” but it is getting updated as soon as the excel is updated.

Please advice for the same..

I have a list of customer names and account totals but the customer name is not repeated down the column. For example:
Customer A
blank row
blank row
Customer B
blank row
blank row
blank row
blank row
Customer C
blank row
blank row

I want it to look like this with some way to autofill:
Customer A
Customer A
Customer A
Customer B
Customer B
Customer B
Customer B
Customer B
Customer C
Customer C
Customer C

I would like to know how I can autofill the blank rows with the customers’ name, when I try auto fill it replaces all the other customers names with the name I tried to autofill.

Can anyone please help?!

Is there a way to separate a name into 2 columns. My existing database shows names in this format:

Smith, John

I want to do a mail merge and only require just the first name.

suppose u filter only 25 record in 2000 record
and copy filtered 25 record but when u paste those 25 record it is not paste 25 record only it is paste all colomn record. suppose i filter between A1:A200 total 25 rows only, and paste accordingly but when i paste these records it is paste all hide record also. i dont understand about this problem. pls help any body….

this problem is related in excel 2007, but 2003 excel is good but i am working with 2007 excel pls help regarding this problem.
