On the video tip, I think you should still post on YouTube, because of the size of potential audience. However, you may be a small fish in a global sized pond. Vimeo has a great interface and Viddler has great interactivity with videos (you can comment straight to videos as the action happens. how hot is that?). A host Niche video sites around education and learning are also extremely helpful--and more targeted than YouTube.
