    I personally like blogdesk for writing posts because it helps with managing them and especially formatting images correctly. It’s not a perfect solution, but is one of the best freeware tools I found.

    @Keith - Thanks :)

    @Tony - Have you got a link for Blog Desk?

    Agreed! Outstanding list. Picnik is great for photo editing on the fly (the even offer some nice text options for free–about half at the top of their text list).

    I think Jott & Utterz are great tools for mobile blogging.

    Inside SEO tip. I believe flickr is great for community and photosharing, but I’ve been told Picassa photos show up in universal search.

    On the video tip, I think you should still post on YouTube, because of the size of potential audience. However, you may be a small fish in a global sized pond. Vimeo has a great interface and Viddler has great interactivity with videos (you can comment straight to videos as the action happens. how hot is that?). A host Niche video sites around education and learning are also extremely helpful–and more targeted than YouTube.

    If you want to focus on blogging and 4 Hour Work Week productivity, Awayfind is an interesting new mobile app that just launched.

    Cheers!

    Chris,

    Thanks for mentioning AWeber!

    What’s your take on SnagIt? I’ve been using GIMP (free) and been pretty happy with it. Anything SnagIt brings to the table that makes it worth paying for?
